International Business Council Structure
The IBC consists of three subcommittees – Marketing, New Markets (FDI), and Exports. Each committee is responsible for its own set of activities and events to meet the needs of those interested in international business.
The Marketing Committee will be in charge of organizing events for the International Business Council.
The New Market (FDI) - Trade Mission Committee shall help with identifying countries, sectors and companies having defined attractiveness for Memphis expansion opportunities. Committee members will utilize business networks in assisting with contacting foreign company executives as well as to participate in business matchmaking planning with visiting delegations. In addition, this committee will assist with planning trade missions abroad.
The Exports Committee shall provide market analysis and conditions for targeted countries. Members must have expertise in international trade, specialized export skills, or have good knowledge of the export environment.
