Greater Memphis Chamber Advocates For Memphis Business

Memphis, TN—Leaders from the Greater Memphis Chamber traveled to Nashville, TN February 26th and 27th to present the Chamber’s 2013 Legislative Agenda. The trip includes meetings with the other TN urban chambers (Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga) and state elected officials, including Governor Haslam.
The Chamber’s 2013 Legislative Agenda was developed by our Government Affairs Review Committee (GARC) and their recommendations were approved by the Chamber’s Board of Directors. The agenda, which represents the needs of Chamber members, will show lawmakers the priorities of the Memphis business community as we seek to grow and increase the economic prosperity of this region.
Chamber leaders traveling to Nashville include President and CEO John Moore, Senior Vice President of Community Development, Dexter Muller, Vice President of Public Policy & Community Affairs, Andre Dean, Senior Advisory of Logistics & Public Policy, Clifford Stockton and Senior Vice President of Economic Development, Mark Herbison.
