The Greater Memphis Chamber's Small Business Council Launches Advice on Tap Program

Memphis, Tenn.— The Greater Memphis Chamber’s Small Business Council has launched a business program called Advice on Tap. The program offers small and mid-sized business owners access to free 30-minute phone consultations with the region’s leading professional minds (limited to one consultation per month). Areas of expertise included in the Advice on Tap Program currently include: Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, PR, IT, Business Law, Marketing, and Sales. Companies must be a member of the Chamber to participate in this free benefit.

“One of the Chamber’s top priorities every day is to think about ways we can help our members grow and be successful. I’m grateful to our Small Business Council leadership for creating a program that will be very helpful to those who need guidance for their business,” said Phil Trenary, President & CEO, Greater Memphis Chamber.
 
The Chamber’s Small Business Council Leaders include Jeff Weintraub of Fisher Phillips, Chris Miller of Yuletide Office Solutions, Sandra Walls of AVPOL International and Jim Van de Vuurst of Vanick Digital.

The program currently has 40 advisors signed up in the program’s seven areas of expertise. More than 50% of advisors have 25+ years of experience in their profession.
