May is a big month for Memphis— one of the best in the city. There is so much to do and see, from music to BBQ to fashion and more. Riverbeat this weekend was a true depiction of the positive Memphis that I see.

Isn’t that good news? The city is buzzing. It’s full of energy.

Katie Avila Bettencourt and Pablo Avila were warned by numerous people and told not to come to Memphis.
