Memphis is an Attainable City

SmartAsset released a list of the most and least affordable cities to live comfortably in. In the top three of most affordable cities was Memphis. They wrote, “To truly understand the context of a household’s income, it must be compared to local costs and long-term goals… These include basic necessities like housing, groceries, utilities, and transportation, and likely some discretionary spending on hobbies, activities, and other enrichment.” Not only does Memphis have the basics, but we also have activities and amenities for people to enjoy the city. Memphis Makes the Coolest Things in Tennessee

It’s no surprise that our city makes some of the coolest things across the state, and even the country. Several Memphis-area companies were nominated for “Coolest Things in Tennessee” by the Tennessee Manufacturers Association. Memphians among the nominees are American Paper Optics, Barr Brands, Farrell-Calhoun Paint, HARDY BEVERAGE LLC, Memphis Record Pressing, and Odyssey Medical Technologies. You can vote for these companies and view the full list here.

Memphis is Shared Worldwide

People from across the world traveled to the United States this past month as the country hosted the 2026 World Cup. Travel influencer and England fan Jack Aynsley was among the visitors exploring some of America’s greatest cities, including Memphis Watch this video and the four others to see what he loves about our city.
