Comcast RISE to invest $1M in small businesses in Memphis

The Greater Memphis Chamber released its 2022 Greater Memphis Market Supply Chain & Logistics Industry Report on April 19, the latest in a monthly series of industry reports.
In Greater Memphis, the supply chain and logistics industry’s workforce has grown 25% over the past decade to reach more than 119,000 people at more than 3,600 companies in 2022.
Greater Memphis has the highest concentration of Black supply chain and logistics talent of any major U.S. metro and the highest concentration of female talent of its peer metros.

GMERG Report predicts sharp growth in Memphis auto industry

The Greater Memphis automotive industry has grown 81.5% over the past 10 years to end 2022 as a $3.7 billion industry with 1,153 companies and 18,122 employees, according to a new report from the Greater Memphis Economic Research Group (GMERG).
The region’s automobile and auto parts manufacturing sector is expected to grow 57% in the next five years, including electric vehicle manufacturing growth of +20%, per the report.

Memphis MSA sets new jobs record in November 2022
