“The world’s attention is focused on Memphis and businesses are eager to find out more about our city,” said Ted Townsend, President & CEO, for the Greater Memphis Chamber. “The impact of these reports on the region’s economic development strategy has been significant. Our goal is to offer site selectors and businesses considering growth or expansion the most compelling data available. I’m exceptionally proud of Tecora and the GMERG team for producing these outstanding reports.”

The Market Industry Reports significantly contribute to applied research in the Greater Memphis area. They provide key insights into nine target industries, including Advanced Manufacturing, Automotive, Supply Chain & Logistics, Agribusiness, Healthcare, HQ & Finance, Information Technology, Food & Beverage Manufacturing, and Music & Entertainment. These reports have been used by local economic development partners, chamber staff, and companies to inform strategic decision-making, policy development, and workforce planning.

“It’s an honor to have the team’s work recognized,” said Tecora Murray, Executive Director of GMERG. “Even more so, it’s a privilege to play such a significant role in the recruitment of jobs to our region. To know that our work is impacting the lives of families in Memphis and Shelby County is perhaps the most rewarding and it is what continues to drive us to provide the data to help us continue to grow.”
