The week of September 9th was eventful for the Greater Memphis Chamber. We welcomed members and non-members with an inside view at Chamber 101, held our second Women’s Business Council focus group meeting and talked with Fenton E. Wright, VP & Executive Director of The Consortium MMT and Alan Gumbel, Interim Executive Director of Greater Memphis Alliance for a Competitive Workforce (GMACW) on our show Memphians On The Move.

Last week, the Chamber invited members and non-members an opportunity for an inside view of the Chamber at our Chamber 101 events. Attendees gained valuable knowledge about the Chamber, networked with other business leaders, met Chamber leadership and participated in interactive demonstrations of membership benefits.

Memphians On The Move
On Sunday, September 15th at 4pm on ABC Local 24, Memphians On The Move featured Fenton E. Wright, VP & Executive Director of The Consortium MMT speaking about one of Memphis’ strongest resources: music. We also featured Alan Gumbel, Interim Executive Director of Greater Memphis Alliance for a Competitive Workforce (GMACW) discussing the medical device industry and closing employment gaps at Greater Memphis Chamber’s Upskill 901 Workforce Summit this October.
