Board also approves Greg Duckett and Duncan Williams as vice chairmen
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Friday, 12/10/21) – Doug Browne, president of Peabody Hotels & Resorts, will serve as the 2022 Chairman for the Greater Memphis Chamber Board of Directors, the Chamber announced Tuesday at its 21st Annual Chairman’s Luncheon. Browne, who has served as vice chairman for the past two years, succeeds chairman Willie Gregory, director of Global Community Impact for Nike.
“It’s a great privilege to be named chairman of the Greater Memphis Chamber Board of Directors,” Browne said. “The Chamber has helped lead our area to significant economic development wins over the past year, including a massive investment by Ford in our region, and we’re just getting started. It’s time to double-down on economic development and our relentless pursuit of prosperity for all.”
In addition to Browne, the Chamber’s Board of Directors in November elected vice chairmen Greg Duckett, senior vice president and chief legal officer of Baptist Memorial Health Care Corp., and Duncan Williams, president of Duncan-Williams Inc.
