Local businesses encouraged to participate in bidding process

MEMPHIS, TN. Wednesday, January 13, 2025 – To increase local business participation and to grow the Memphis economy, xAI has launched today an RFP (Request for Proposal) Portal for companies to participate in the xAI bidding process. The portal is specifically designed to request bids from potential vendors for products or services. While the portal is open for any company to participate, xAI is strongly encouraging local companies to participate in the process. The xAI RFP Portal can be found at https://xaivendors.com/ and also on the Greater Memphis Chamber’s website: www.memphischamber.com.

“Over the past few months, I have had the privilege to meet with over 100 local (and regional) based companies. The number one question I receive is how do I do business with xAI?” said Brent Mayo, Senior Manager, Site Build/Infrastructure for xAI. “The portal has been created for all companies – both small and large – to register to receive RFPs from xAI. It is important to us as a company that as we grow in Memphis, we want our fellow businesses to grow, too. This is an opportunity to work together and establish business relationships with our neighbors.”

The xAI Portal can be found at https://xaivendors.com/ and also on the Greater Memphis Chamber’s website: www.memphischamber.com.

“We are incredibly grateful to Brent Mayo and the xAI team for dedicating time and resources to create opportunities that allow companies to compete on projects that could significantly impact their growth and future,” said Ted Townsend, President & CEO of the Greater Memphis Chamber.

About The Greater Memphis Chamber

One of Memphis’ oldest institutions, dating back to 1838, the Greater Memphis Chamber is a privately funded nonprofit that serves as the region’s lead economic development organization and the “Voice of Memphis Business” on local, state, and national issues. The Chamber’s mission is to drive the Memphis business agenda for Greater Memphis. We do this by relentlessly pursuing prosperity for all — through economic and workforce development, pro-growth advocacy, and by providing support and resources to its investors, which include many of the region’s largest employers.
