Meet the Chairman’s Circle: Jennifer Hobson

Jennifer Hobson majored in Economics and graduated from the University of Mississippi with a business degree in 1999. She holds a Law Degree from The University of Memphis (2004), where she graduated salutatorian and is a licensed, but non-practicing attorney. She practiced law at Evans and Petree and served as an adjunct professor at The University of Memphis School of Law. She is currently Vice President of Hobson Realtors, where she sells residential real estate with her husband of 15 years, Joel Hobson. Hobson Realtors has 61 agents and is one of the top residential real estate firms in Memphis. Jennifer is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club of Realtors and closed over $25 million in residential real estate sales in 2018.

Meet the Chairman’s Circle: Bob Berry and Lucy Woodson

The impressive leadership at the Greater Memphis Chamber coaxed Robert Berry and Lucy Woodson to be a part of the Chairman’s Circle. The pair, founding business partners at the furnishings and interiors company Worlds Away LLC, were impressed by people like the late Phil Trenary and by Chamber Chairman Richard Smith. However, it was a visit by Philip Spinosa, who came on as senior vice president of the Chairman’s Circle in the spring of 2018, that prompted Berry and Woodson to sign on for greater involvement in Circle strategies launched to better Memphis.

Meet the Chairman’s Circle: Nick Nunn

Nick Nunn security bancorp memphisA native of Halls, Tenn., Nick Nunn moved to Memphis right out of college and worked for Morgan Keegan 13 years before joining his family’s business, Security Bancorp, in 2005. As chief investment officer today, he manages the investment portfolio and oversees funds management duties for all six of Security Bancorp’s financial institutions. An inquiry into how to get involved with the litter problem in Memphis led to Nunn joining the Chairman’s Circle as he realized the complexity of the issue. “First impressions are important when people are visiting our city,” Nunn said. “The Chamber had made a big commitment toward finding solutions.”
