Every year, the Greater Memphis Chamber’s Teacher Externship Program embeds teachers in businesses to promote a greater understanding of high-demand skills and jobs available to their students.
Building stronger bridges between the classroom and the workplace is essential to preparing students for the jobs of the future.
Teachers who participate in the externships receive valuable supplies to help their students learn about career possibilities.
