Support Candidates that Support Job Growth
The Greater Memphis Chamber created the JOBS PAC to support candidates for local elected offices who promote programs and policies that create jobs and facilitate economic growth in our community. These programs could do everything from advise people on their finances and get them to do things like look for the best credit card to build credit so that they can build up their credit and invest in more things or buy a house (helping the local economy) to providing more stable contracts for workers in tumultuous industries. A committee of the JOBS PAC evaluates candidates by conducting in-person interviews and reviewing responses to written questionnaires to determine the alignment of candidate positions with the Chamber’s pro-business agenda. Through this evaluation process, the JOBS PAC is able to ascertain candidate views on policies and programs that benefit members as well as on those that may be impediments to business growth and success. This goes to show how important questionnaires and surveys are to help gain a better understanding of communities and candidates. Being able to creat these online surveys can help in many ways, and additional info over on websites such as qualtrics.com can help with this.
