Joseph “C.J.” Harris is a native Memphian and works every day to be a “change creator”. Growing up in the North Memphis community near Jackson and Hollywood greatly assisted in building his personal and professional skill sets that he has today. He takes great pride in his 26-year marriage to his beautiful wife Chauntay Harris along with his two amazing children Jordan Harris 25 ( currently in Grad School at UAB for Epidemiology ) and Kennedi Harris 15 ( Sophomore at Bartlett High ).

 

Professionally he is the Business Development Specialist at Seedco. His day to day includes everything from assisting program members find employment opportunities to strategically aligning with other community partners to improve our City. However outside of work, he tremendously enjoys being an Ambassador for the Chamber and Memphis. He is a firm believer that people are good and just need to kind work or a listening ear to help them along the way.  One thing that keeps in moving in a positive direction is that he let’s everyone he meets know.. ” change is available to all that are ready.”
